We're excited to share the latest on our early 2023 coliving opportunities, the details of our upcoming IRL/URL holiday party, and a new Campfire podcast with our friends at Kift.

1. Get Your Name Down: São Miguel Island (Portugal) 🇵🇹 & Colombia 🇨🇴

Looking to escape the winter weather? Join us in Colombia or Portugal for our first neighborhood pilots in 2023 ✈️

Pilots are how Cabin and neighborhood caretakers get a feel for what it's like to be in the Cabin network. Cabin works with the caretaker to curate a special experience that aligns with our ethos and their community's local offerings.

Build, Cowork, & Adventure: The Azores in Portugal (January 29th - February 26th)

Duration: 1 month | Spots: 8

Located in a series of nine volcanic islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, São Miguel island is dotted with geysers, hot springs, mineral waters, and waterfalls. We’ll be putting our green thumbs to use by caring for a neglected orchard that needs a dose of Cabin love. This experience is a work/live exchange program focused on connecting with the land through gardening, land stewardship, and exploring the natural beauties of the island. 🌸

• When: Jan 29th - Feb 26th. Join us for a 2 week experience, or take the leap and come for all 4
• What's included: Lodging accommodations, food, and airport transportation
• Cost: In exchange for 20 hours per week of work, there's no cost to you besides your flight to Ponta Delgada (PDL) airport
• Capacity: 4 residents per session in the Cabin house, but nearly unlimited camping if you bring your own gear :)

Cowork & Explore: Colombia (February 26th - March 5th)

Duration: 1 week | Spots: 12

Escape the winter and drop into the beauty of Colombia in this 7-night immersive coworking and coliving experience. Taste the food, coffee, and culture as we live, work, and adventure together in one of the world’s most beautiful countries.

Details:

• What's Included: Lodging accommodations, 3 meals / day, 2 group excursions, transportation to/from Medellín (MDE) Airport
• Cost: 700 USD – 1,000 USD in shared + private bedrooms. All rooms have an attached bathroom

2. Join: Cabin Holi-Daze Party

Only 1 week until Cabin's Holiday Party! Join us IRL in Toronto, Oakland(Radish), Neighborhood Zero, or virtually on Zoom.

3. Listen: 26 Kift: Live and Work Anywhere with Colin O’Donnell​

With an increase in remote work, more people have taken to the roads and embraced the van life. Recognizing that this life can be isolating, Colin set out to create community centers for these nomads. Now, Kift has four Community Houses on the West Coast and organizes caravans exploring the world. Tune in to hear how this community of van lifers is redefining what a city is.
