This is your weekly update on all the happenings going on in the Cabin world. Coming to you on a Tuesday as most of the core team is at the City Council Retreat!

Media Guild

This week, Roxine (@roxine#0665) published the July Writer’s Residency article, facilitated a podcast team retrospective, and also spent some time with the Des Femme retreat folks.

Next week, we’ll be finalizing the July residency participants.

Placemakers’ Guild

First things first — we WON Guild Games!!

This week, we welcomed Montaia to the Cabin network of Neighborhoods and had the Hopes and Dreams Kick-off on Monday led by JD (@JonDean | Community | EST#8327). We also nnounced Cabin gatherings at NFT x NYC.

In the coming week, we’re looking forward to supporting Cabin’s DEI residency hosts. Also, more discussions about the upcoming residencies in July and August, as well as programming for the NFT NYC gathering (final touches!) and Montaia.

Governance Proposals & Consensus

• 0930 EST Visioning Step 2: Collective Sensemaking. Think sticky note explosion as we work on a miro board collectively.

• 1500 EST Onboarding Call Great for newcomers to the DAO as well as existing members looking to dive back in!

Thursday June 16th

• 0930 EST Visioning Step 3: Landscape Session - Is it in frame or out of frame? The Illustrious painter Zakk will share the symbolic application of wisdom from his painter methods to the organization of a DAO. We will be applying this framing to the Cabin vision that we've unearthed in the last two sessions.
