Open Bounties & Ways To Get Involved

City Council

This week we welcome back the City Council from their IRL retreat in Minnesota. Daily updates are posted on the #announcements channel.

The Cliff Notes:

• Council decided on a core mission, objective and budget for Summer 2022. These will be announced in the Community Call today (Jun 21, 2022 Tue)!
• We’d like to emphasize experimenting with low-risk, low-effort “bullet” projects, and “cannonball” deeper once the best ideas have been fleshed out.
• We reflected on Cabin’s accomplishments thus far and brainstormed goals and plans for the next 5 years.
• Made some paintings:

Media Guild

• The Media Guild this week has selected 4 writers for the July writers’ residency program!

Placemakers Guild

• Hosting Thirsty Thirsty x Cabin Launch Lunch in NYC on Tuesday! RSVP here.
• Placemakers’ Guild Games win is under review. The official winner will be announced Tuesday.
• For those who love making a house a home: reach out to Phil (Phil Levin#3140).

Community Guild

• Richie, the co-founder of Clarity (Cabin’s project management tool), will be leading a how-to session on the platform soon! This will be a great opportunity to learn how to participate in bounties and navigate the site (especially after the recent launch of Clarity 2.0!). Time & date TBD.
• Are you the friend who makes every gathering more fun? Reach out to Chalice (chalice#2017).

Product Guild

• Appealed Guild Games result. The official winner will be announced Tuesday.
• Do you love problem solving and computers? Reach out to Zakk (zakk | Cabin#0896).
